Bath, though modest in size, has a pretty strong agency environment with lots of innovative enterprises. Areas such as the Artisan Quarter are particularly known for their creative communities and those 'agency types'. Almost no matter where you work in Bath, you are either in, or can see from your window a wonderful piece of historic architecture, so it's a great environment for all creatives that live and work in the city. Both universities provide a pool of talent, even though much of it does leave for pastures new. Annual events like the Creative Bath Awards do a lot to highlight the city’s creative output, and Bath’s proximity to Bristol enhances opportunities for regional partnerships, of course.
