London has long been a hub for digital agencies, with some of the most creative firms setting up in Shoreditch, Soho, Camden, South Bank, and Clerkenwell. The city’s position as a financial and media capital means agencies work with global brands in fashion, finance, and entertainment. Tech firms and international brands will for obvious reasons continue to use London design and marketing agencies, even when less-costly options like Manchester and Leeds provide really strong agency services. Institutions like UAL, Goldsmiths, and Imperial College will always bring new skills and ideas into the agency workforce, and London's talent pool is probably better than ever right now. London Tech Week, the D&AD Festival, The Digital Transformation Conference, and numerous other digital and creative conferences do their bit to keep the industry as the leading city for agencies for national and international brands.
