Asian Agencies
Asia's digital agency network has certainly changed (and improved greatly) over the past five years. Southeast Asia features cities such as Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, where the agency scene has lots of flavours. Singapore acts as a regional center, with a concentration of agencies serving international clients in the main. In South Asia, Mumbai stands out as a key city for agency activity, with a large number of agencies, having put the hard work in for the past 15+ years white labeling western agency work, now working on India-based businesses.
East Asia also has many centers for digital agencies. Seoul has a developed agency scene, tied to South Korea's advanced technology sector. Shanghai and Shenzhen in China has seen many new SEO/development and event-based agencies startup in the past five years or so, with Shenzhen's tech sector showing high demand for digital services as businesses in the region try to promote their products worldwide. Tokyo hosts a mature agency sector, working with both domestic and international clients. Hong Kong agencies are likely to work with large tech companies that have offices in various cities throughout the continent.
