Belfast, of course, rivals Dublin in terms of the best place to work for digital creatives on either side of the border. The Cathedral Quarter, with its blend of historic buildings and modern spaces, is a key location for agencies - especially the more creative ones - to build their home. The Titanic Quarter, known for its maritime heritage and regeneration, is also home to a few agencies of note.
Local universities and institutions play a role in supplying personnel to agencies - unless they are attracted over to Liverpool or Manchester, which is often the case, sadly. Queen's University Belfast and Ulster University have a great record of producing creative talent, although I am not sure if digital follows suit.
Belfast hosts several digital and creative gatherings including Digital DNA, and Big Data Belfast.
The city has a variety of restaurants and bars, particularly in areas such as the Cathedral Quarter and cultural attractions such as St. Anne's Cathedral and various museums - always good for inspiration, and keeping creative talent in the city.
